Claudia Powell earned her mediation credential at the National Conflict Resolution Center in San Diego. In addition, she holds a license as a California Professional Fiduciary, is a Nation Certified Guardian through the National Guardianship Association, and is a member of the Professional Fiduciary Association of California.
Claudia has served as a professional fiduciary since 1988, administering over 200 matters. Over the course of her career, she has acted as trustee, personal representative in probate estates, conservator, guardian, financial power of attorney, and court-appointed referee.
In the performance of her duties as a fiduciary, she has participated in court proceedings to create trusts, clarify trust language, determine ownership of assets, determine heirship, and settle disputes.
She has provided accounting consultation and preparation services to attorneys and fiduciaries for over 27 years and has been appointed by the San Diego Superior Court to generate, evaluate and analyze accountings in disputed matters.
Claudia graduated summa cum laude in Psychology from San Diego State University in 1977 and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Eta Sigma honor societies.
